09. What is 144?

I wrote this a while ago, but it's appropriate to show here...

Number 144

What Exactly is This Number?
I wrote this on : 07/09/2010

This number is most important in understanding the Mayan Calendar system as well as our 'modern' system of time keeping.  It also a very important number in regards to communications...

144 is the 12th number in the Fibonacci sequence
144 is the sum of 12squared
144 as 'hours' amount to 6 days
and adding zeros...
1440 as 'minutes' amount to 1 days
144000 as 'days' amount to 1 Mayan Baktun...

Let's take a look at this number...

The Traditional Mayan Long Count Maths

Kin ..........1 x 20
Uinal.........20 x 18
Tun...........360 x 20
Katun.........7200 x 20
Baktun........144000 x 13
Great Cycle...1872000 'days'

The great cycle days amount to an approximate 5125 years and is the famous Mayan Calendar 'end' date of Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012.... these are 13 cycles of number 144000 'days'
If 1440 can be 'minutes in one day'... then

1440 'as minutes' = 1 days
14400 as 'minutes' = 10 days
144000 as 'minutes' = 100 days
1440000 as 'minutes' = 1000 days
and all together, these are 1111 days

The number 144 is also the twelfth number in the Fibonacci sequence of numbers if the first digit zero is not counted as a number. The Fibonacci sequence looks like this....

If left alone, the number 144, if representing hours... would be equal to the number of hours in six modern calendar days. Adding the zero 1440 to this would create the 'seventh' day and this is also, what we happen to call a modern week as Monday through Sunday.

Here's a simple pattern which comes out of 1440 and equals the amount of days recorded to be a Venus year...'mirrored'

4 + 4 = 8
4 + 0 = 4

The cycle of Venus was so important to the ancient Mayan that they made it a point to also record this in their writings and monuments. Perhaps they knew better than we do today, how related these two planets really are and perhaps why we've always known Venus to be our 'twin' planet.

We've seen the math on the number 585 and Venus happens to contain just one less 'day' at 584 days

144 is also the number of a Gross.
It is used in the bible as a reference in

Revelation 14:1 (ESV)
Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

And they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth....

It's the same as to say...
1440 x 1300 = 1872000 'days'

1872000 days / 144000 = 13 (13 x 5 = 65) x 8 = 520 and then 'flips' 1872000 / 520 = 3600
1872000 days / 14400 = 130 (130 x 5 = 650) x 8 = 5200 and then 'flips to' 1872000 / 5200 = 360 'Tun'
1872000 days / 1440 = 1300 (260 x 5 = 1300) x 8 = 10400 a half turn 1872000 / 10400 = 180 'degree'


08. What is 19.5 'degree' anyway...

I know, things seem to get cloudier as we move along but this is one of the important numbers that needs to be seen before we continue with the Mayan's Mason, story... as they might be Martians all the same ;)


19.5 degrees north and south are the latitudeswhere the apex points of a star tetrahedra within a sphere will contact that sphere's surface,when one apex is positioned at the north or south pole.


19.5 degrees is the angle that's been found by researchers (Richard C. Hoagland, Stanley McDaniel, Erol Torun, Horace W. Crater, etc.) to be repeatedly encoded in the structures of Cydonia. It is viewed as a definite 'signal in the noise' - some kind of a 'message' left there by some intelligence. 19.5 is called t, the 'tetrahedral constant', because of its significance in tetrahedral geometry (a tetrahedron is a pyramid shape composed of four equilateral triangular sides): the apexes of a tetrahedron when placed within a circumscribing sphere, one of the tetrahedron's apexes touching the north pole, the other three apexes touch the surface of the sphere at 19.5 degrees south latitude. Why this number would be important to the builders of the Martian structures is not clear (though Hoagland is theorizing that it has to do with what he calls "hyperdimensional physics"). mmm... there's a mouth full...

06. Communications

So what do I think is going on for the year 2012?  personally, I think it's a new form of communication from 'somewhere' and I think the ancient's heard it and I think, while there are stories of 'elite' having secrets, their secrets are indeed out in the open... most people, from my own experience anyway, don't care to even glance this way if they peak and see a single number involved in the discussion... so it's not a wonder we even 'invented' the word 'secret'.   But the idea and indeed entire way of 'money' is everything surrounding number and our global communities have suffered things called 'poverty', bad economics, bail outs... due to this very lack of understanding and perhaps even fear.

We fear that which we desire and work for,
We fear that which is the make up of our body (the 'bread') of our 'living'
and we don't even know it maybe...

We all literally 'live' by the motion of a clock and yet we might not even realize anymore, why there are 1440 minutes in a 'day'....  But we work and earn the very thing we call a 'living', by these systems of time keeping ... all governed mostly down to the time clock's minute, for most of the population.

I'm about to show you why we have the saying... " time, is money " when we visit the dollar bill and Mason mysteries,  but first, take a look again at 585...

Angles or Angels... and there is certainly reason for the number 195... and you will see soon how it all comes together.

The Times

I wrote this back in August of 2008 but it's time is now, so I'm posting it again... and it's just for 'coincidences' and a break from learning the numbers, but if you've read previous posts, then these coincidences will make more sense to you... and some of it will make sense later on along the way instead...
I hope it will spark your interest to continue reading.  I've modified some of this from the original.

The Times

In the year 2012, we will be having the 30th XXX Olympics, to be held in London, England that year. In addition, 2012 is a leap year containing 366 days, a presidential election year, and last but not least, the 'end' of the Mayan calendar. This made me realize that we are currently in the leap year of 2008, another 366 day year, a presidential election year and the 29th Olympics, held in Beijing this time.

The US One dollar bill, unfinished pyramid contains the Roman numerals
MDCC LXXVI which translates to 1776, the US year of Independence. Oddly enough, that's the same year, only a few months prior, that the (Bavarian) Illuminati, was founded...

33 hours. Could you have guessed... there are 1980 'minutes' in 33 hours. 1980 would be the year that the Georgia Guidestones were dedicated and again as yet another coincidence, 1980 plus 33 more years, would put us into the year 2013. The year after the Mayan calendar is supposed to reach it's 'end' date.

If you 'stack and add' 20 and 13 which are also the two numbers that make up the Tzolkin 260 Sacred Mayan calendar as 20x13 = 260, then you also get those 33s.

05. a Vertical Stance... on 585

The sum of 585 is an extremely important number clue... here is why...

1 x 13 = 13

3 x 13 = 39
4 x 13 = 52

the sums = 585 ... nine level pyramids is how they built them if I read correctly

585 x 3 = 1755 - 1300 = 455 / 5 = 91 'steps', 4 sides worth of which add up to 364 'steps'
and there is so much more to 585...I do hope you keep reading and keep thinking about how these number patterns might also relate to what we know.



Remember... a pyramid 'looks' like this...

585 is the sum of, the sums of... what's above...

04.04 Simple Clues with Reason

The quick study of binary was needed... basically they are ones and zeros and rather than a number 1, appearing in it's decimal form, a number 1, in binary would appear like this 0001, three leading zero and a one.

The quick study of the Fibonacci sequence was needed and the reason was to understand... "past plus present, equals what is next" ... this is the nature of how we grow, in knowledge too.

The easy comparison of math in years, of the Mayan Long Count, as compared to 'where we are now' made for clear realization that there are numbers unexplained...

5125 -- the Mayan year that houses the date December 21, 2012
2012 -- the 'end' year of this cycle
3113 -- the obvious 'begin' year of this cycle? ... maybe something else even...

But because -3113 and 3114 are the 'same' year... it should also be seen then that, something, must increment...

2013 -- the next cycle 'begin' year

The quick study of simply how to count and do simple addition, shows the reason for their buildings...

removing the 'ones' and putting them aside as Surveyor, the remaining twelve numbers of 2 though 13, when added up, equal 90 in each row... as an accelerant, each row is multiplied by 4, producing 360 per row and 360 while it can be called a Mayan Tun, can also be called a modern 6 hours worth of 360 'minutes', if that's what they are... also.

1440 x 1300 = 1872000 and this sum, is also the 'date' published as December 21, 2012
14400 x 130 = 1872000 and these are 40 'Tun', as 14400 / 360 = 40
144000 x 13 = 1872000 and in this form, is called 13 cycles of the Mayan Baktun days
also known as 400 'Tun' when viewed as 144000 / 360 = 400

455 + 1300 = 1755 and divided by 3, become 585, each

455 + 1300 = 1755 / 3 = 585 and again... 585 is a very special number as this is where we 'went vertical'... and why they may have built the pyramids, nine levels tall...

03.30 What Pacal Said...about BACAB... and 1248

So the binary is very easy to look at but only if we make solid, the leading zeros, to the left...

0011... this is a three...  and so on...

Do you remember what he said about showing the people of the Earth the 7, 4 and 13 then?...

and while that might not seem 'impressive', you must add the idea of 'Fibonacci', which is the natural growth pattern... so it starts by counting the ones, then zeros, to produce the 'first numbers', then adding their sums in a fibonacci pattern, produces the 'impressive part', which you will see in the charts below.

So to translate very small portions at a time... look again at Pacal's instructions

"... the 7, 4 and 13 ... in this way ..."

identifying the pattern and isolating the sums, shows the word Bacab, which is completely related to the ancient Mayan and their creation stories.

... remember that Gematria is the assignment of number to a letter of alphabet, which means that using the 'English' alphabet, the positions of 2, 1, 3, 1 and 2, amount to the word 'BACAB'

and remember that 1776 happens to be a very recognized year as displayed on the U$1.00 pyramid, which we will visit later.  MDCCLXXVI = 1776 so the answer is yes and certainly, this means the Mason and the construction stories of the one dollar bill.

The sum of 3+3+3+3 is 12
the sum of 741 + 741 + 147 + 147 = 1776

It might be a bit much but do take a minute and 'consider' these things...
about what we think the ancients knew... about maybe, what we think we know...

so what Pacal 'said'... is "... this way ...", in this order











Notice that when placed in Pacal's way, a new 'switch' is shown... as 13 'mirrored', produces 31
...and by reason of the Mayan calendar 'start date', the number 1331 makes sense as it's clear these 'cross' each other to also make 3113.

This is how you read the chart...
Using the letters, starting row A, the position of that letter is 1, the four digit binary of the number 1 is zero zero zero one, the count of ones in the binary is 1, the count of zeros in the binary is 3, their count addition is
1+3 = 4
3+4 = 7
4+7 = 11
This addition is in the style of Fibonacci ... in the style of the 'golden mean'....

I agree that the ancient Mayan took a special interest in our body structure.

Four fingers... which means on a single human, two hands, eight fingers
One thumb... certainly the ancient Mayan counted our thumbs, it's the single instrument that set us apart

14 + 15 + 16 + 17 + 18 + 19 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 = 260 plus one 'big' toe = 1300 and this, is resembling a Mayan number for sure.

As a comparison to something 'familiar' in our modern calendar ... the Mayan Tzolkin number of 260 days, can also be seen as our Monday thru Friday work week, multiplied by 52 weeks in our calendar year...

The Mayan translated 20 x 13 = 260
The sums of numbers 14 through 26 = 260
5 x 52 = 260, which are the amount of Monday through Fridays, in a 364 day calendar year.

but back to building toes.....
260 x 4 = 1040 (also could be looked at as 10 Venus Rounds of 104 each)
260 x 5 = 1300 (and if days... then 1300 days are what five, sacred Tzolkin calendar contain)

Remember 1440 from the last post?...
basically it means, the sum of 4 Tun, multiplied by the sum of 5 Tzolkin, equal a Great Cycle.

(360 Tun x 4) = 1440 
(260 Tzolkin x 5) = 1300


1440 x 1300 = 1872000 the number of Mayan Great cycle days, the number of December 21, 2012
14400 x 130 = 1872000 I am only shifting the zeros...do you see how it works....
144000 x 13 = 1872000 thirteen Mayan Baktun cycles contain 1872000 days

So if the ancient Mayan were counting human 'digits'... then half our limbs would amount to this...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 = 91 x 5 = 455
14 + 15 + 16 + 17 + 18 + 19 + 20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 = 260 x 5 = 1300

455 + 1300 = 1755 and that's properly, half a human with one hand and one foot, completed.
and 1755 makes a lot of sense...and why we needed to include the thumbs...

four sides of a pyramid don't count it's base...which is the EARTH herself and certainly, like a thumb, the base is what matters most... it's where we come back 'from'... 

a pyramid structure looks like this...

5 'faces' counting earth's base
8 'lines'
5 'corners'

so a pyramid looks like 585 which is exactly correct as three of them = 1755
so half a human, contains three pyramid ... three, pyramids

03. The Mayan Long Count Calendar

On the winter solstice, December 21, 2012, it is in the press, that the 'Mayan Long Count calendar is ending' and the stories are anything from the delivery of love and wisdom to death and total global destruction... perhaps alien intervention ... the stories are many but not the focus of my blog so I will leave it up to your curiosity and desire to explore further.   I am here to show that perhaps the 'final verdict' on the translation of the ancient numbers and languages isn't complete.

The Mayan calendars, could be today's modern system...  I think there are too many stories of 'armageddons' and apocalypses ... our focus should be elsewhere, like forward, into our future generations....

Here is the Mayan Long Count as traditionally translated

Kin  = 1 .......... x 20
Uinal = 20 ........ x 18
Tun = 360 ......... x 20
Katun = 7200 ...... x 20
Baktun = 144000 ... x 13 'cycles'
Great Cycle = 1872000 'days'

Let's take a real close look at just the Baktun cycles now... in 'reverse order'...

1872000 / 144000 = 13 cycles of 144000 'days', which could also be said as 400 Tun
1872000 / 14400 = 130 'could also be seen as, 40 Tun cycles'
1872000 / 1440 = 1300 and this one, as 'days' could also be known as 4 Tun cycles

and because 1440 is the same number as the amount of minutes in one modern day...
this could then also mean
........1872000 as  'minutes' / 1300 'days' = 1440 'minutes' per day...

... and remember, 1440 days are 4, Mayan Tun

I suggest there is also this one
1872000 / 144 = 13000

some things, might be more than what we 'called them' then


1872000 = 144000 x 13 Baktun cycles
144000 = 7200 x 20 Katun cycles
7200 = 360 x 20 Tun cycles
360 = 20 x 18 Uinal

144 is so important a number, that there will be an entire post to 'what it is'... in several of it's form.
As a reminder, this is the 12th number of the Fibonacci sequence, in addition to a few other things.
Most importantly, as hours, 144 amount to 6 modern days.

Take a moment to research a little of the Mayan Long Count calendar and see for yourself that these  calendar numbers showing, are true and then Google minutes in a day and 1300 days and 130 days and see that these numbers are also true... and just think about it.  Use your calculator if nothing else ;)

The Mayan calendar maths are made up of numbers 13, 18 and 20.

20 x 13 = 260 days in the Mayan Sacred Tzolkin calendar

(Note:  I link to mostly the Wiki because it's universally sound and reasonable without endorsing any particular scholars claim to work or appearing as though I have any comparison to any scholar's work)...  they're all probably 'right' to some degree... and my blog will be correct to the 33.55th degree ;) Yes, that mysterious 33rd degree thing is also included up the way...

I include the math of 20 x 20 which is 400 and I say this number was also important to the ancient Maya, the same as the Gregorian calendar today recognizes a 400 year cycle.  These, I will compare later along the blog... for now, remember

So the 7, 4 and 13, as scholars have translated the Tomb of Inscriptions, is explained as a 364 day year.


7 x 4 x 13 = 364


and while the sum of days is one of the accurate year numbers (364, 365 and 366) and while there are indeed seven days a week, four weeks a month and 13 moon months a year and while this does match the Mayan concern for the reproductive system, I believe these numbers point to a different message about the Ancient Mayan.

Here is why the math for the year number of 364, simply makes more sense matching the pyramid of Chitzen...


It has four sides, 91 steps a side so the math is
4 x 91 = 364 ... and I will show you why this makes perfect sense.

The main attraction is the central pyramid, also known as El Castillo, this spectacular, massive Mesoamerican step-pyramid that dominates the Chichen Itza archaeological site in the Mexican state of Yucatan.  Built by the Maya sometime between the 1000 and 1200 AD, El Castillo served as a temple to the god Kukulkan and is believed to have served as a calendar.

The calendar number of 364, matches the build of El Castillo... and this is a natural state of the addition when using their sacred 13 numbers....


Not to say that the math of 7 x 4 x 13 = 364 isn't correct, it certainly is... but I think Pacal's message for it was another meaning...


Learning to Count


The physical build of El Castillo shows the very obvious and basic maths and measurement methods.


Let's take a look at why...

and for the measures taken, there must have been someone standing with two feet and two hands at the 'center'... so the position of 'one', I will call 'Surveyor'...


and when we start adding up from position 2, the sum becomes 90

four, Mayan Tun, contain 1440 'days




and this means 
forty Mayan Tun contain 14400 days
and this means 
four hundred, Mayan Tun contain 144000 days... which is also called One, Mayan Baktun.  The coincidence of a 400 year Gregorian cycle, will make more sense later... showing this small 'coincidence', now.


Check the simple math on it yourself.


This is the state of matter and what we can touch.  
And an angle... while maybe not of type angel, useful all the same, to human kindness.


I don't think December 21, 2012 is at all an 'end' date but rather a marker of communication.  A beacon perhaps...


I should also make a note, the pyramid El Castillo has nothing actually to do with Pacal's burial site as it's known today, from what I read anyway. This however, is the perfect place to show the base of how and why the Mayan might use the numbers they do in their maths and also in their structures... perhaps why Pacal pointed here also.


And it would make sense that most people could understand a message like this because it's quite 'physical' and easy to see....

Okay, while I admit I've not ever read the bible or any other holy book in their entirety nor do I attend a church, I do have a strong faith in 'stuff'.  So, when I use the word 'god' along the blog... don't take it so literally, this isn't about 'our' weird and mostly violent histories between peoples, it's about information... coming from the sky let's say, and let's stay, upon equal, respectful and loving ground, in the spirit of sharing, for our future generations... we all have them and so let's make 'them' our common stuff...

So the book of genesis showed me how to make a proper division of a circle... keeping all things equal for all of human kindness... and  I don't know why it was the book, it just was and it shows clearly, within the first 8 passages, how balance is created.... One through eight .. it's called something like "object, creation".

this means the lines are these and in this order, layered... it's something to remember.

Those are the 'numbers' and therefore 'rows' of 1 2 4 8, which you will understand later, but that's what these are and that's how the circle is to be divided for all to be equal and equitable.

Pacal II, also known as Pacal the Great (the most recent work gives his full name as K'inich Janaab' Pakal (26 March 603 - 31 August 683), was ruler of the Maya polity of Palenque. Pacal ascended the throne at age 12 on July 29, 615, and lived to the age of 80. The name "Pacal" means "shield" in the Maya language.

Pacal saw expansion of Palenque's power in the western part of the Maya states, and initiated a building program at his capital that produced some of Maya civilization's finest art and architecture. He was preceded as ruler of Palenque by his mother Lady Sak K'uk'. As the Palenque dynasty seems to have had Queens only when there was no eligible male heir, Sak K'uk' transferred rulership to her son upon his official maturity. After his death Pacal II was succeeded by his son Chan Bahlum II. A younger son, Kan Xul II, succeeded his brother Chan Bahlum II.

After his death, Pacal the Great was worshiped as a god, and said to communicate with his descendants. Pacal the Great was buried within the Temple of Inscriptions. Though Palenque had been examined by archaeologists before, the secret to opening his tomb—closed off by a stone slab with stone plugs in the holes, which had until then escaped the attention of archaeologists—was discovered by Mexican archaeologist Alberto Ruz Lhuillier in 1948. It took four years to clear the rubble from the stairway leading down to Pacal the Great’s tomb, but was finally uncovered in 1952. His skeletal remains were still lying in his coffin, wearing a jade mask and bead necklaces, surrounded by sculptures and stucco reliefs depicting the King's transition to divinity and figures from Maya mythology.

That the bones within the tomb are really those of Pacal the Great himself is under debate due to the fact that the analysis of wear on the skeleton’s teeth places the age of the owner at death as 40 years younger than Pacal the Great would’ve been at his death. Epigraphers insist that the inscriptions on the tomb indicate that it is indeed Pacal II entombed within, and that he died at the age of 80 after ruling for around 70 years. Some contest that the glyphs refer to two people with the same name or that an unusual method for recording time was used, but other experts in the field say that allowing for such possibilities would go against everything else that is known about the Maya calendar and records of events. The most commonly accepted explanation for the irregularity is that Pacal the Great, being an elite, had access to softer, less abrasive food than the average person so that his teeth naturally acquired less wear. Despite the controversy, it remains one of the most spectacular finds of Maya archeology. A replica of his tomb is found at the National Museum of Anthropology and History in Mexico City.
